Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) conducted a meeting with Tanzania Tourism Stakeholders aimed at receiving comments and opinion on a new International Marketing Strategy that will be used as a guidance to promote Tanzania Tourism. The meeting was held at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar es Salaam. On October 23rd, 2020.
The International Marketing will guide the tourism marketing and promotional activities for the five years 2020/21 – 2025/26. This strategy is a result of a strong Public and private sector partnership, involving joint discussion and consultations between both sectors, in which many key stakeholders were involved. This strategy will develop distinctive and competitive positioning of Tanzania and make use of more focused and cutting edge techniques and approaches to international tourism marketing.
The Director General of TTB Ms. Devota Mdachi stated that, “ TTB appreciate your participation and believe that all your inputs will make this International Marketing Strategy a success and through these efforts Tanzania will be placed in the world map of tourism market. As we roll out this strategy, we invited all the Tanzania Stakeholders to take ownership and support its implementation.”.
