Held annually in Madrid, Spain, Fitur is one of the largest and most influential tourism trade fairs worldwide, providing a prime platform for countries, destinations, and tourism stakeholders to showcase their offerings to a diverse and professional audience.
For this year’s event, Tanzania was represented by 20 exhibitors, ranging from tour operators, hotel chains, safari companies, and local artisans. These exhibitors highlighted the rich diversity of Tanzania’s tourism experiences, including its renowned safaris, beautiful beaches, and iconic natural wonders such as Mount Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti National Park.
TTB’s participation at Fitur was aimed at strengthening Tanzania’s presence in the international tourism market, fostering new partnerships, and promoting the country as a top destination for leisure, adventure, and cultural tourism. The exhibition showcased a variety of unique travel experiences, including safaris in the Serengeti, beach vacations on Zanzibar, and trekking expeditions up Mount Kilimanjaro.
As one of the premier tourism events globally, Fitur offers a prime opportunity for Tanzania to engage with industry professionals, build relationships with key stakeholders, and stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the tourism sector. The fair was a major success, with Tanzania receiving significant attention from international buyers and media, further solidifying its position as one of Africa’s most sought-after travel destinations.

The Tanzania Tourist Board is optimistic that the exposure at Fitur will boost tourism arrivals and play a vital role in promoting the country’s diverse attractions to new markets, contributing to Tanzania’s broader economic goals. The fair’s success is expected to result in more international tourists exploring the country’s stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant wildlife.
